Spicy chicken pasta 🌶 🍝
– pasta of your liking (I used low carb fussili)
– chicken thigh filet
– white onion (chopped)
– Garlic (chopped)
– Heavy whipping cream (50-100 ml)
– 1 tbsp Turkish pepper puree (or normal tomato puree)
– Sambal / hot sauce to taste
– Unsalted butter
– 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon
– Chili flakes
– 40 grams grated cheddar cheese (can also use Parmesan or mozzarella)
Spices to marinate the chicken:
– 1 tsp cayenne
– 1 tsp chili flakes
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp paprika powder
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1 tsp Cajun spice mix
– Pepper & salt to taste
– Olive oil
Cut the chicken thighs in small pieces and marinate with the olive oil & above spices. Let it sit for a few hours.
First start baking the chicken, no need for extra oil since it’s already marinated in olive oil. Bake for a few minutes and then add the chopped zucchini & mushrooms.
When all the veggies have softened remove and set aside.
Now add some butter to the same pan and add the chopped onions & garlic.
After a few minutes add your pepper or tomato puree to the onions. Combine well and add a little bit of warm water, chicken bouillon, chili flakes and hot sauce. When it’s al combined add your heavy whipping cream.
Finally add the chicken/veggies to your sauce and mix in the grated cheese.
Mix your pasta in and you have a great pasta dish.
You can make it as spicy as you like. 🌶
