Smoothie breakfast bowl 🌱
Today’s breakfast is a super nutritious smoothie bowl, nice and easy on the digestive system and basically like eating fruity ice-cream for breakfast 😍 I used @dhownaturefoods moringa powder in this smoothie bowl, hence the beautiful green colour 💚
Moringa oleifera is a plant native to India that has been praised for its health benefits for thousands of years. It is very rich in healthy antioxidants and bioactive plant compounds. 🌱
So far, scientists have only investigated a fraction of the many reputed health benefits.
🙌🏼 Moringa oleifera is rich in various antioxidants, including quercetin and chlorogenic acid! (helps lower blood pressure & moderate blood sugar levels after a meal) Moringa leaf powder can increase blood antioxidant levels. 🩸🩸🩸
1. 1 large frozen banana
2. 3 tbsp dairy free yoghurt
3. 1 kiwi
4. Handful of pineapple
5. Handful of spinach
6. Almond milk / water as needed
7. 1 tsp moringa powder
8. 1 tsp hemp seeds
1. In a high speed blender, blend together all the ingredients until smooth.
2. Place in a bowl and serve with toppings of choice – I went for chia seeds, raspberries, blueberries, hemp seeds, pomegranate seeds and pumpkin seeds! 🤩🌱💚
